Do you mean an Apple Mac OS X install CD? Problem is I don't have one
that works on this particular PowerBook. I have a G4 powerbook CD, but
it's for the aluminum models, and won't work on this one....is there
still a way to use this version to create the blessed partition?

This procedure will correct bad FC5 partition creators. Sad that we
have to go to another distro to correct the required Apple disk label
(Apple's version of the partition table.)
