Hi, I filed bug 1155274, sorry, I thought by putting Grub into the Whitelist the problem would be solved. Kind Regards
Any chance you can put a copy of /sys/firmware/efi/efivars/db-d719b2cb-3d3a-4596-a3bc-dad00e67656f someplace we can see it? (in a bugzilla report would be fine.)

Hi, I have had now a more detailed look into the Bios menues - I am really a no expert in things like Bios. There is in case of my Acer E15 E5-571G a button "Security" leading to "Select an UEFI file as trusted for executing" at the end of this menue steps I choose "grubx64.efi" etc. Now F21 on an USB drive can be run in UEFI mode.

You've whitelisted grub, which may help make things work, but this should not have been needed.
Thanks!
