I noticed on the Ubuntu lists that they are looking at replacing init(1) with upstart; info here
http://www.netsplit.com/blog/work/canonical/upstart.html
Just wondering what the thoughts are regarding Fedora, and if Upstart may be taken on in fedora 7.
Disscussions welcome :)

This seems quite interesting. As there were already discussions about initng, this seems much better, as it could run old init scripts, but adds event based capability. And it is pretty abmitions with replacing also cron etc.

Disscussions welcome :)
