Is Fedora 18, at some point, suppose to be using the F18 testing directory for updates and such, before it moves to the actual F18 tree? Assuming this happens when Alpha comes out or something? Or am I missing something?

Yes. We will switch to using bodhi later tonight.
When that happens, new builds will be submitted using bodhi to updates-testing. Once promoted from updates testing they will go into the main f18 repo at the next nights compose(updates repo will remain empty until just before release).

OK that explain alot, figured wasn't using it yet, just wanted to make sure.

System understood, just wasn't sure if was using it yet or if something had changed that I hadn't seen.
I mirror locally and hadn't seen anything on my end nor mirrors, so was making sure.
Thanks,
