Ahead of an RC5 release, I created an unofficial netinstall iso with the new libreport and anaconda builds. * http://tflink.fedorapeople.org/iso/boot-x86_64.iso * http://tflink.fedorapeople.org/iso/boot-x86_64.iso.sha256
If anyone has the time and inclination to test that boot.iso and, assuming there is no breakage, add karma to the following updates:
* https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/lorax-16.4.1-1.fc16 * https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/anaconda-16.14.6-1.fc16 * https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/libreport-2.0.5-6.fc16 * https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/dracut-011-41.git20110810
Doing any sort of installation should be enough for testing lorax and anaconda. If that system boots without issue after install, that should be enough for dracut karma.
For libreport, the following testcase is useful: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_Anaconda_save_traceback_to_bugzil...
We haven't updated that test case for the new libreport in F16 yet but you should be added as a CC to any non-closed duplicate reports and nothing happens if the bug is closed.
Right now, using a non-random traceback in graphical mode should add a CC to the following bug: * https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=731047
Using a non-random traceback in text mode should find the following bug and do nothing since it has been closed: * https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=731145
Thanks for testing,
Tim

Whoops, I forgot 2 things:
1. I didn't say please :) 2. Please add karma to dracut even though that build has been obsoleted. There are outstanding bugs against the newer build and we are planning to pull in the older 011-41.git20110810 build for alpha.
Thanks,
Tim
