I'm hoping that I'm overlooking something here. I installed Fedora-27 from a nightly a few weeks ago. I downloaded a server boot only, installed minimal, and everything was normal.
Today, doing a VirtualBox install, all I saw available was the modular server. So I used that, and again chose minimal.
However, the only repos available are the modular server repos. In contrast, the other install has the standard fedora repos that were installed, as they've always been, during a standard install.
Is there now only going to be a modular server with modular server repos available? This seems a regression to me, but I'm suspecting that I've overlooked something obvious.

And, it seems this may just be on the nightlies page. Looking at mirrors.kernel.org in F27-Beta, it seems the normal server netinstall iso is available. If that's the case, everything's fine as far as I'm concerned.

The nightlies code basically treats non-modular and modular 27 composes as interchangeable: it'll display whichever came most recently. I could change this, but I haven't bothered.
However, it is in fact correct that the non-modular Server images for F27 aren't really considered a part of the release. They were produced for all nightly and candidate composes, including the final release, but I believe the plan is not to include them in the modified compose that is actually sent out to mirrors as the release, and not to promote them in any way.
If you know how to get them from the RC compose you can of course still go ahead and use them...but Modular Server is the only supported Server edition for F27, AIUI.

That's a bit of a pity for those liking to do minimal installs. Are there going to be any available net installs that, by default, install the standard Fedore repos instead of the modular server ones? I would be surprised if I'm the only one who likes to install that way. Obviously, there are workarounds, but it would be nice if something similar was available by default.
Thanks, as always.

Ok, to update myself, I see that there is a 500 MB Workstation boot (going by the nightlies) which is only a bit bigger than the server boot, and that it offers the minimal install. So, that will do, enabling me to do my usual minimal install and get the normal Fedora repos. Thanks.

Minimal installs haven't ever been Fedora Server though. But maybe you want a minimal install and then group install server?
Anyway, with the existing getfedora.org, at the very bottom is and option, Alternative Downloads. That takes you here:
https://alt.fedoraproject.org/
If you download Everything, it's a netinstaller that includes a Software Selection option and in there is a minimal install as well as Fedora Custom OS, and the F27 version has the same interface and options.

Ok. I've been, for many releases, chosing the server netboot and gotten minimal install from its software selection. This is the first time it's given me different repos. As mentioned, I can use the workstation boot, I just prefer downloading some kind of net install. I'll probably just go to using the workstation from now on. Heh, sounds like I'm pouting, saying that in a sulky voice.

It seems to save a few hundred MB off the workstation boot, probably closer to the size for the old server boot. Fortunately, I don't (yet) have a bandwidth cap so it's more a matter of what I've been used to using being changed. :)
Thanks to both Chris and Adam for clarifications.

All the netinstalls are based on the exact same boot image, the only difference should be the product image file that does a bit of installer UI customization for defaults and stuff, including what package set (Software Selection default button) is chosen. So I'd expect there to be maybe a 1MB difference between them.

Sure. The Workstation and Everything netinst images. The Everything netinst is in fact produced (and considered release blocking) more or less specifically for this purpose.
