there are 2 situations where my gnome3 desktop sometimes freezes:
Over the last two days, I have noticed that my entire computer will freeze up, and I have to do a hard shut-down for it to work again!
It really makes me angry! I make random saves of my work when I am working on my computer, but it still seems to catch me before I am done...
I have not been able to determine when or what might be doing to trigger it...
The Shell freeze Joachim and I have seen isn't a complete system freeze, you can ctrl-alt-f2 to a console and kill gnome-shell to recover from it.
Hi, before the last update I could do that. maybe er have different versions? or maybe the hardware is different?
Not sure this is the same, but after getting freeze earlier today, I just got a bus error core dump from gnome-shell.
