Made some progress with a VM but couldn't use the Win key and couldn't
start any apps.
My laptop's not booting from USB so I had to work out how to boot the
ISO from grub.cfg - after that I got much the same result as with the
VM - got a desktop and swaybar, the mouse can hover over the swaybar
items and show more info etc. However, now that it is real hardware,
I can also use the Win key too - so I was able to do Win-D and choose
apps but none of them do anything? eg alacrity is not installed and
when I try to do:
dnf install kitty
also nothing happens . .
Is that what I should be getting with the current state of the iso?
I just tried 20220826 but there doesn't seem to be any change from 23?
