UNOFFICIAL
Hi Jakub,
The good news is that the problem has still not recurred, so I'm confident that it is
now fixed with that setting.
Unfortunately, getting versions of SSSD that don't exist in the official Red Hat
repositories into this environment is somewhat difficult.
If there is some other way, I'm more than happy to help you narrow down this bug to
get it fixed (if it hasn't already been resolved in 1.13).
Regards,
Adam

Hi Jakub,
The SSSD version is 1.12.4.
Initial tests with "ad_enable_gc = false" are promising!
I have repeated the testing sequence at least 5 times and have received consistent
results each time.
Is this a bug, or an environment issue?
I think it's a bug, although it's possible it was fixed in the 1.13 branch. If you
have some test VMs where you can test the 1.13 builds, we could confirm.
But I've seen SSSD going to the Global Catalog also for non-Universal groups in my
testing, which yields no members. But I've never been able to reproduce this reliably
and fix the issue :-/ _______________________________________________
