Bug ID: 2215644 Summary: Review Request: VirtualBox - powerful x86 and AMD64/Intel64 virtualization product for enterprise as well as home use. Product: Fedora Version: 38 Hardware: All OS: Linux Status: NEW Component: Package Review Severity: medium Assignee: nobody@fedoraproject.org Reporter: lost@biitle.nl QA Contact: extras-qa@fedoraproject.org CC: package-review@lists.fedoraproject.org Target Milestone: --- Classification: Fedora
I've been using GNOME Boxes as a GUI for QEMU on my computer, but recently it broke. I think adding VirtualBox to the Fedora 38 repositories would really help people that are having the same problem as me. VirtualBox is also not available on Flathub.
Thanks.
Reproducible: Always

--- Comment #1 from Davide Cavalca davide@cavalca.name --- This bugzilla category is for submitting packages for review, not for requesting packages. That said, VirtualBox needs an out-of-tree kernel module and includes non-free components; both are blockers to its inclusion in Fedora. It is however already available via rpmfusion, see https://rpmfusion.org/Howto/VirtualBox
