parameterized interface to mutable Deques

Spec URL: http://qulogic.fedorapeople.org//ghc-abstract-deque.spec
SRPM URL:
http://qulogic.fedorapeople.org//ghc-abstract-deque-0.3-1.fc26.src.rpm
Description:
An abstract interface to highly-parameterizable queues/deques.
Background: There exists a feature space for queues that extends between:
* simple, single-ended, non-concurrent, bounded queues
* double-ended, threadsafe, growable queues
... with important points inbetween (such as the queues used for
work-stealing).
This package includes an interface for Deques that allows the programmer to use
a single API for all of the above, while using the type-system to select an
efficient implementation given the requirements (using type families).
This package also includes a simple reference implementation based on 'IORef'
and "Data.Sequence".

ghc-managed - A monad for managed values
by bugzilla@redhat.com
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1514674
Bug ID: 1514674
Summary: Review Request: ghc-managed - A monad for managed
values
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
Component: Package Review
Assignee: nobody(a)fedoraproject.org
Reporter: quantum.analyst(a)gmail.com
QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: package-review(a)lists.fedoraproject.org
Spec URL: http://qulogic.fedorapeople.org//ghc-managed.spec
SRPM URL: http://qulogic.fedorapeople.org//ghc-managed-1.0.5-1.fc26.src.rpm
Description:
In Haskell you very often acquire values using the 'with...' idiom using
functions of type '(a -> IO r) -> IO r'. This idiom forms a 'Monad', which is a
special case of the 'ContT' monad (from 'transformers') or the 'Codensity'
monad (from 'kan-extensions'). The main purpose behind this package is to
provide a restricted form of these monads specialized to this unusually common
case.
The reason this package defines a specialized version of these types is to:
* be more beginner-friendly,
* simplify inferred types and error messages, and:
* provide some additional type class instances that would otherwise be orphan
instances.
