[Bug 498390] Review Request:
rakudo - Rakudo - A Perl 6 compiler for the MoarVM and JVM
by Red Hat Bugzilla

--- Comment #26 from Gerd Pokorra <gp(a)zimt.uni-siegen.de> ---
The jar file will now be compredded. The rpmlint output is now:
$ rpmlint rakudo-0.2016.11-1.fc25.x86_64.rpm
rakudo.x86_64: W: dangling-symlink /usr/share/perl6/runtime/dynext
/usr/lib64/dynext
rakudo.x86_64: W: no-manual-page-for-binary perl6-debug-m
rakudo.x86_64: W: no-manual-page-for-binary perl6-valgrind-m
rakudo.x86_64: W: no-manual-page-for-binary perl6-debug-j

rakudo.x86_64: W: no-manual-page-for-binary perl6-gdb-m
1 packages and 0 specfiles checked; 0 errors, 7 warnings.
At the moment the corresponding 2016.11 moarvm, nqp and nqp-jvm packages of
fc25 are in the updates-testing repository. (dnf install moarvm
--enablerepo=updates-testing)

The rakudo package is done more rpmlint conform:
$ rpmlint rakudo
rakudo.x86_64: W: dangling-symlink /usr/share/perl6/runtime/dynext
/usr/lib64/dynext
rakudo.x86_64: W: no-manual-page-for-binary perl6-debug-j

rakudo.x86_64: W: no-manual-page-for-binary perl6-gdb-m
rakudo.x86_64: W: uncompressed-zip /usr/share/perl6/runtime/rakudo-runtime.jar
1 packages and 0 specfiles checked; 0 errors, 8 warnings.
The link /usr/share/perl6/runtime/dynext is not really broken.

[Bug 1396636] New: Review Request:
golang-github-knieriem-markdown - A translation of peg-markdown into Go
by Red Hat Bugzilla
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1396636
Bug ID: 1396636
Summary: Review Request: golang-github-knieriem-markdown - A
translation of peg-markdown into Go
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
Component: Package Review
Severity: medium
Priority: medium
Assignee: nobody(a)fedoraproject.org
Reporter: rosser.bjr(a)gmail.com
QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: package-review(a)lists.fedoraproject.org
Spec URL:
https://tc01.fedorapeople.org/dwarffortress/golang-github-knieriem-markdo...
SRPM URL:
https://tc01.fedorapeople.org/dwarffortress/golang-github-knieriem-markdo...
Description: This is an implementation of John Gruber's markdown in Go.
It is a translation of peg-markdown, written by John MacFarlane
in C, into Go. It is using a modified version of Andrew J
Snodgrass' PEG parser peg -- now supporting LEG grammars --,
which itself is based on the parser used by peg-markdown.
Support for HTML and groff mm output is implemented, but
LaTeX output has not been ported. The output is identical
to that of peg-markdown.
Fedora Account System Username: tc01
This is my first Go package-- I was looking into packaging an application
written in Go with this as a dependency. As best as I can tell, the current way
to do Go packaging in Fedora is to use the gofed tool to generate a spec and
then polish it manually? That's what I've done here.

[Bug 1366411] New: Review Request:
fedora-rpm-macros - Miscellaneous Fedora RPM macros
by Red Hat Bugzilla
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1366411
Bug ID: 1366411
Summary: Review Request: fedora-rpm-macros - Miscellaneous
Fedora RPM macros
Product: Fedora
Version: rawhide
Component: Package Review
Severity: medium
Priority: medium
Assignee: nobody(a)fedoraproject.org
Reporter: tibbs(a)math.uh.edu
QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: package-review(a)lists.fedoraproject.org
Spec URL:
https://www.math.uh.edu/~tibbs/review/fedora-rpm-macros/fedora-rpm-macros...
SRPM URL:
https://www.math.uh.edu/~tibbs/review/fedora-rpm-macros/fedora-rpm-macros...
Description:
This package contains the various miscellaneous Fedora-related RPM macros.
Fedora Account System Username: tibbs
This is a super simple package which currently doesn't actually contain any
macros. It will be used as a repository for packaging-committee approved
macros so that redhat-rpm-config doesn't have to be modified directly.
Notes on rpmlint output:
fedora-rpm-macros.noarch: W: no-url-tag
The package itself is the upstream. There are very few packages for which
this is actually OK, but the various *-rpm-macros packages are all this way.
fedora-rpm-macros.noarch: W: only-non-binary-in-usr-lib
Things are being installed into %rpmmacrodir (/usr/lib/rpm/macros.d) which is
the correct location for this.
fedora-rpm-macros.noarch: W: no-documentation
Documentation will be in the Fedora packaging guidelines, with explanatory
information in the macro file itself.
fedora-rpm-macros.src: W: no-url-tag
Again, no upstream.
fedora-rpm-macros.src: W: strange-permission fedora-rpm-macros.spec 660
fedora-rpm-macros.src: W: strange-permission macros.fedora 660
rpmlint just doesn't like my umask. The buildsystem won't have the same
issue.
fedora-rpm-macros.src: W: no-%prep-section
There's nothing to prep. Nothing to build, either.
Otherwise there should be no fedora-review complaints. I have released all
copyright to any macros I add, and so the license is Public Domain. Of course,
there isn't actually anything at all in this package currently; just one
comment.
