SRPM URL:
http://fedora.debroglie.net/fedora-test/SRPMS/10/libnewmat-10D-1.fc10.deb...
Description:
This C++ library is intended for scientists and engineers who need to
manipulate a variety of types of matrices using standard matrix
operations. Emphasis is on the kind of operations needed in statistical
calculations such as least squares, linear equation solve and
eigenvalues.
rpmlint gives the following warnings:
- libnewmat-devel.x86_64: W: no-documentation (the documentation is in the
libnewmat package)
- libnewmat.spec: W: mixed-use-of-spaces-and-tabs (spaces: line 1, tab: line

- libnewmat.x86_64: W: shared-lib-calls-exit /usr/lib64/libnewmat.so.10.4
exit(a)GLIBC_2.2.5
The package has been successfully built in mock.
It's my first package and I am seeking for a sponsor.
Cheers,
Pascal

Description:
The FOX program was made for the ab initio crystal structure solution
from diffraction data (mostly powder diffraction data). Its most
interesting features for ab initio structure determination are:
* a versatile description of the crystal contents: either isolated
atoms, molecules described using a bond length, bond angles and
dihedral angles, and polyhedra for inorganic compounds. You can
describe your structure by using any combination of groups of atoms,
using a chemist's or crystallographer knowledge about the connectivity
in your sample to constrain possible solutions;
* an automatic correction for special positions and shared atoms
between polyhedra, suitable for global optimization algorithms;
* the ability to use simultaneously multiple powder patterns
(X-rays, neutrons), as well as single crystal data (e.g. extracted
from a powder pattern);
* smart global optimization algorithms which can get out of
false minima;
* a graphical interface with a 3D crystal structure view, with
live updates during the optimization process.
This program can be used also for educational purposes, to show a 3D display
of Crystal structures, and the associated powder pattern(s) (see how adding
atoms, changing the lattice, or changing the spacegroup affects the powder
spectrum and the 3D structure).

I need a sponsor, these are my first 2 packages.

Description: GnoMenu - A consolidated menu for gnome that brings eye candy to
the world of the Gnome menu's. Fully functional menu , supports themes , for a
composited or non composited desktop. It can emulate the look and feel of the
most beautiful menus of most modern desktops, and it can also use custom menus,
due to its powerful theme XML engine.
This package use translations, but this translations are in xml files. What is
the correct approach in this case?
There are some rpmlint's complains... I'll need some hints about them. =(

Description:
Performance Co-Pilot (PCP) provides a framework and services to support
system-level performance monitoring and management. It presents a unifying
abstraction for all of the performance data in a system, and many tools for
interrogating, retrieving and processing that data.
PCP is a feature-rich, mature, extensible, cross-platform toolkit supporting
both live and retrospective analysis. The distributed PCP architecture makes
it especially useful for those seeking centralized monitoring of distributed
processing. PCP is an ideal "drop-in" replacement for sysstat/sar for those
engaged in supporting enterprise level production computing environments.
For more details, documentation and white papers, see the PCP home page at
http://oss.sgi.com/projects/pcp
The associated GUI package (pcp-gui) exists in a separate tree and will be
submitted in a separate review request.

Description: EKG is a community health scanner. Currently this targets mailing

contributions and other details.
Note: We are in discussion what the name should be. There is a definite python
library component. The big question is the scripts that come with this package,
should they also be considered 'python-fedora', or would we be better off with
a subpackage.
