We could propose a new change for f24 to have mono 4.2

For the moment I only try build. But not push the update for f23.
I think you
should do a scratch build instead.

If the build for rawhide did not fail, I think mono 4.2 would have
automatically been integrated in Rawhide.
You committed the 4.2 change for f23 to git, which confused me.

That was probably by accident. Can you please revert that, or set it
back to 4.0.5?
To test a build, you can do a scratch build on Koji, without committing:
rpmbuild -bs foo.spec
koji build --scratch f23 foo.srpm
