https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=803236
Summary: (as_IN) Letter 'ma' (ম) and 'wa' (ৱ) not mapped for Assamese Product: Fedora Version: 17 Platform: Unspecified OS/Version: Unspecified Status: NEW Severity: unspecified Priority: unspecified Component: m17n-contrib AssignedTo: pnemade@redhat.com ReportedBy: ngoswami@redhat.com QAContact: extras-qa@fedoraproject.org CC: pnemade@redhat.com, i18n-bugs@lists.fedoraproject.org Classification: Fedora Story Points: --- Type: --- Regression: --- Mount Type: --- Documentation: ---
Description of problem:
While testing inscript2 input method for Assamese I encountered the following issues:
1. Letter 'c' (normal c) is giving 'nna' (ণ) instead of 'ma' (ম). 'nna' (ণ) comes under 'C' (shifted c) but is appearing for both 'c' (normal c) and 'C' (shifted c).
2. Letter 'b' (normal b) is giving 'b' itself instead of 'wa' (ৱ).
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
m17n-contrib-1.1.13-3.fc17.noarch
How reproducible:
Try typing the above mentioned letters with Assamese inscript2 input method and lohit-assamese as default font in IBus and text editor.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select Assamese inscript2 as input method and lohit-assamese as default font in IBus. 2. Select lohit-assamese as default font in text editor. 3. Type the above mentioned letters.
Actual results:
Letter 'c' (normal c) is giving 'nna' (ণ) and Letter 'b' (normal b) is giving 'b' itself.
Expected results:
Letter 'c' (normal c) should give 'ma' (ম) and letter 'b' (normal b) should give 'wa' (ৱ)
