Summary: desktop file looks for eekboard-desktop-client
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=696523
Summary: desktop file looks for eekboard-desktop-client
Product: Fedora
Version: 15
Platform: Unspecified
OS/Version: Unspecified
Status: NEW
Severity: unspecified
Priority: unspecified
Component: eekboard
AssignedTo: dueno(a)redhat.com
ReportedBy: petersen(a)redhat.com
QAContact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: i18n-bugs(a)lists.fedoraproject.org, dueno(a)redhat.com
Classification: Fedora
Story Points: ---
Description of problem:
eekboard's desktop file seems to try to run eekboard-desktop-client
but there is no such program in the eekboard package currently afaict.
Perhaps it should just run /usr/bin/eekboard?
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
eekboard-0.90.6-1.fc15
Steps to Reproduce:
1. click on Applications -> Accessories -> eekboard
Actual results:
nothing happens :)
Expected results:
eekboard to run
Additional info:
I guess it is just a small change to the .desktop file
unless something else intended. :)

I could not reproduce your problem
If the report was generated by abort, I think it also can attach the stack
trace.
Would you attach the trace when you get the crash?
Which application did you use?
Which key sequences did you type?
Also I wonder if you use the latest ibus-m17n
# yum install ibus-m17n
$ rpm -q ibus-m17n
ibus-m17n-1.3.2-1.fc14.x86_64
