My name is Bryan Teague, and I would be grateful for the opportunity to participate within the dotnet group.
I’ve had a great deal of experience developing applications through Visual Studio. In addition, I’ve been using various Linux distributions for over a year, and continually find myself gravitating back to Fedora.
Contributing to Fedora OS will be a new experience for me.
I have background experience developing web, desktop, mobile phone, and tablet applications. All of these have been completed using C#, html, CSS, javascript, XML. I understand the various components to C# and ASP.NET, such as Object-Oriented Design, Windows and ASP.NET Forms, methods and event handling, working with data sources and datasets, etc.
To throw in, I’ve also developed applications in VB, Java, as well as a bit of tinkering with C / Assembly / Kernel and OS development.
I believe I’d be a great asset to dotnet, as I have in-depth experience working in both Linux and Microsoft / Visual Studio environments.
The only assistance I would need to get started is understanding where the need is.
My IRC handle is bt_003
Thanks again.
Bryan
PS. I am also interested in participating in Google Code of Summer 2017. I’ve written to bex about Atomic Project, though I think I’m more interested and suited towards working on dotnet Idea #1. Has any other students expressed an interest?

I would suggest you participate in the meetings and we will see what you could help with :)

I would like to suggest you to use the mailing list[1] instead of direct mail, as bex is probably rather busy and there are likely other people in that list who will know the technical details of specific ideas that he might not.
As far as Idea#1 goes, that's partially scratched and has to be rewritten - i'll get around to that before our next meeting... It would not be FAS library anymore, but it would be an asp.net thing interfacing the ipsilon[2] which i didnt have time to look at yet... The reddit flair app would be part of it though, it would be useful for us there...
