Cockpit should display the command used to resolve the situation
(similar to what the ssh command does).
Which version of Cockpit are you using? I think there were a few
versions that didn't have that message displayed. 0.103 fixed the
problem if I remember correctly.
The command looks like this:
ssh-keygen -R myhost.mydomain -f /var/lib/cockpit/known_hosts
