Hello, I'm having trouble adding a host to cockpit. It was already listed in cockpit but then I reinstalled fedora on it, removed the host from cockpit and now I get the following message when I try to add it again: Incorrect Host Key The key of *myhost.mydomain* does not match the key previously in use. Unless this machine was recently replaced, it is likely that someone is trying to attack your connection to this machine. How can I solve this?
Thank you. F.
Cockpit should display the command used to resolve the situation (similar to what the ssh command does).
Which version of Cockpit are you using? I think there were a few versions that didn't have that message displayed. 0.103 fixed the problem if I remember correctly.
The command looks like this:
ssh-keygen -R myhost.mydomain -f /var/lib/cockpit/known_hosts
Cheers,
Stef

That command worked well.
Thank you.
