Yes, I strongly agree about it being kept updated. That was my main
hesitation with doing this. I think we have enough interesting stuff
happening these days that we can keep it pretty populated, though.

What I planned to do was just use a free
Wordpress.com blog. I think we
just need a simple-ish blog that allows multiple authors, and I'd just
as soon avoid the hassle of keeping on top of security updates and
whatnot.
