Confirmed as a Puppet version problem.
A bit conflicting because all systems are configured using our default
Puppet (2.7.x) infrastracture.
Aeolus looks very promising!

Good to know it is in fact a 2.7 problem. I'm planning to fix the 2.7
incompatibilities in our upcoming development sprint, so hopefully this
will not be a problem for much longer.
