DC API ontop of Conductor, is the big missing item. Don't care about

You misunderstood. This is the feature list for the imminent project
release.
And DC API will be there for the next project release if someone
contributes it in time.
(Yes, the project also needs to be clear on the schedule for the next
release too :-)
