My understanding is that would not work. You would want all servers
running either SunDS or FDS.
FDS replication is compatible with SunDS 5.1 and
earlier replication. I
believe SunDS 5.2 has some sort of legacy replication mode that lets it
talk to SunDS 5.1. So it is possible.
