your base is very strange. and must reflect the base of your server.
in a sample dc=example,dc=com
but as you writed it : dc= dc=com it is not correct
I actually have it correct, I just didn't write it in for privacy.
Sorry for the confusion. Should have written:
dc=<domain-name-removed>, dc=com
