Ad 1, 1a)

There is no need to install python by hand; it is LMIShell's dependency,
so it will be installed, when necessary. Install following package on
management console:

# yum install -y openlmi-tools

See 1; modules are packed in openlmi-tools package.

Ad certificates)

You need to copy "server.pem" from the managed machine (the one, where
Tog-Pegasus is running) *to your local machine* (the management
console). E.g.:

# scp root at managed-machine:/etc/Pegasus/server.pem
/etc/pki/tls/certs/managed-machine-cert.pem
# cacertdir_rehash /etc/pki/tls/certs

Ad firewall)

By default, Tog-Pegasus uses encrypted HTTP protocol, thus 5989 port
needs to be opened on the *managed system*. E.g.:

# firewall-cmd --zone=public --add-port=5989/tcp --permanent

It is possible to enable insecure HTTP protocol, then the port 5988
needs to be added to your public zone. To enable HTTP connection, run
following command on managed machine:

# cimconfig -p -s enableHttpConnection=true

NOTE: "-p" stands for "planned" configuration; you need to restart
Tog-Pegasus.

Ad SELinux)

Basically, most of the providers should be working without any SELinux
change.

Ad connection)

When the configuration is done, run lmishell on the management console
and perform the connection:

$ lmishell
> c = connect(hostname, username, password)
... (See documentation examples)

NOTE: It is necessary to add "username" into "pegasus" group at managed
system.

Ad 4)

Follow the mentioned steps above: host acts as your management console
and guest is the managed system. There should be no differences, when
using this setup.

If you see any mistake, or something has changed, please, feel free to
correct me.

Cheers
