Is this format generally supported by the tools available? A quick
search showed me support for XML Schema Time formats but not for
duration information.

We should make sure the data will be easily processable using the
commonly available tools. Can you put some example in wiki how this will
be done in the scenario that I often hear in the office where the API is
used with CURL as a sort-of CLI?
