Hi, is there a special reason pragha 1.3.2.1 is still built only for rawhide ? - -- Regards,
Heiko Adams
Hi Heiko, I am the developer of Pragha
It was discussed in March.
Now not should be updated because Pragha 1.3 depends on gstreamer 1.0. Fedora 22 was released with versions of gstreamer 0.10. (Due parole and xfce4-mixer). if we change now, would add several megabytes to users per one single package. (Gstreamer 1.0 plus all necessary codecs).
Regards, Matias.
p.s: Here I keep the updated packages of pragha plus libgly needed to show lyrics. * https://copr.fedoraproject.org/coprs/matias/Pragha-updated/

Yeah, we didn't want to update it before release or there would be more stuff pulled in, but I suppose if there's enough interest we could push a f22 update now. Ideally it should get a lot of testing though...

A little fun-fact: I've installed version 1.3 from mathias copr and from koji and in both cases did a "dnf remove gstreamer-*" after that and in both cases dnf still wanted to remove pragha. - -- Regards,

Hi Heiko, I fixed on copr the dependence on old gstremaer..
Also rebuild gstreamer1-plugins-bad-free with the chromaprint plugin enabled that alow search tags on AcousticID service. However you must install gstreamer1-plugins-bad-free-extras if you want to use this (Not added as fixed dependency, because it adds 140MB of fluid-soundfont-lite-patches :S)

Dear all,
Today released a new version of Pragha, and I assume that's a good time to add it in view of Fedora 23 beta.
I assume that parole is built with gstreamer1 and xfce4-mixer is eliminated. Any opinions on this?.
The copr repository is updated to test, and also rebuild gstreamer1-plugins-good to fix a bug in the equalizer in Fedora 22 (Another reason to not backport it on F22).
Changelog: * https://github.com/pragha-music-player/pragha/releases/tag/v1.3.3 Copr repo: * https://copr.fedoraproject.org/coprs/matias/Pragha-updated
Regards, Matias.

Dear all,
Today released a new version of Pragha, and I assume that's a good time to add it in view of Fedora 23 beta.
Yep. We should be able to get it in now before Final freeze.
I assume that parole is built with gstreamer1 and xfce4-mixer is eliminated. Any opinions on this?.
I switched parole in march: * Sat Mar 07 2015 Kevin Fenzi kevin@scrye.com 0.8.0-2 - Switch to gstreamer1 and build clutter backend
and we are using xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin now. ;)
The copr repository is updated to test, and also rebuild gstreamer1-plugins-good to fix a bug in the equalizer in Fedora 22 (Another reason to not backport it on F22).
Changelog:
Copr repo:
Built and update submitted. Testing welcome:

Thanks Kevin, Tomorrow install Fedora 23 in a machine to test..
I have a couple of comments about dependencies, eg. dbus-1, dbus-glib-1, and maybe others are unnecessary.. They are dragged from 1.0 times, but tomorrow I check everything and comment better..
p.s.: Any chance of packaging officially libglyr before freeze?. Here a source rpm for use as model, or maybe directly propose to package review but officially i am not a fedora packager: * http://matiasdelellis.esy.es/glyr-1.0.8-1.src.rpm

Sure. Feel free. Anything we can do to package things up better is good...

Not sure I will have time, but can try and look...

Hi again, Attach a diff with my proposals of dependencies. Just remove two old deps (dbus-1 and dbus-glib-1), another that is always was unnecessary (taglib), and then updates the rest to the minimum version required.
I only could test in F22, due that mock have dependency problems on F23 (systemd, etc, nothing related to this package).
Thanks for all, Regards.
