Hi All,
First: the MD5SUMs are correct and they both boot on several other computers, including my own KVM VM's. (I state this first because that is what I would first think.)
I have a customer with a computer (i5) that I can not get either of Fedora 19 Xfce Live CD to boot. (Haven't tried FC 20 yet.)
But I can get my Windows 7 WIN PE disk to boot. [/editorial comment] AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH !!!! [/editorial comment]
It boots past open selection screen, then goes to the gray background with the blinking cursor in the upper right. Then it just stays there. You can eject the CD-ROM from the drive.
Any ideas what is going on?
Many thanks, -T
Sometimes it just hangs during the boot process.
While you are booting, pause when GRUB loads, edit GRUB and remove the word 'quiet.'
That should help you figure out what's going on. -- Steven Rosenberg http://stevenrosenberg.net/blog http://blogs.dailynews.com/click stevenhrosenberg@gmail.com steven@stevenrosenberg.net

Hi Steve,
Good idea. I will try it out next shot at the customer's machine.
Thank you, -T
