Hi there, just got the same issue and got it solved by adding as in the "post
17", these lines into /etc/security/console.perms.d/50-default.perms:
"Make sure you put (0666 root) instead of (0600 root).
@the TOP :
<sound>=/dev/dsp* /dev/snd/*
@the bottom:
<console> 0666 <sound> 0666 root
It now works just as perfect.
Thanks
Sylvain

I got the same issue and here is how I solved it:
It was caused by setserial having saved (and restoring at boot time) the
configuration of /dev/ttyS0 when the laptop computer was in its docking
station, namely a 16650A, while the reader has a 16450 (or an emulation
thereof). Telling setserial not to touch the configuration solved the problem,
after a reboot.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 10
development cycle.
Changing version to '10'.
More information and reason for this action is here:

Is there any reason why this bug is _still_ not fixed? shorewall is definitely
not used by the default configuration. This silly extra "Require" is the only
reason why I have to build replacement RPMs for internal distribution of
fail2ban.
Havin g multiple firewall tools on one machine is crazy, at least as long as
these don't share identical configuration files.

[Bug 134638] Add striping to lvm creation
by Red Hat Bugzilla

--- Comment #20 from Curtis Doty <curtis(a)greenkey.net> 2009-02-14 12:18:09 EDT ---
Compelling reason #1: Creating an LVM strip in %post is quite ugly:
extents=`lvm pvs --noheadings -o pv_pe_count /dev/sd{b,i,c,j,d,k} |awk
'{tot+=$1}END{print tot}'`
stripesizeK=128
lvm lvcreate -l$extents -nbar -I$stripesizeK -i2 foo /dev/sd{b,i,c,j,d,k}
Compelling reason #2: You can't do this for any system fs such as / or /usr.
Please re-open.
