question for Thomas:
So, what can we do it there's no active zone?
This I think can happen when using firewalld but not NetworkManager
(which tells firewalld what network interface belongs to what zone).
Adding rules to default zone (i.e self._zone = "") won't help because
there's no interface using this zone.
I see there's a chain called 'direct' which seems to be used when
there's no active zone.
Should we use this 'direct' chain in this case ? Is there a way how to
add rules to this chain instead of to a zone ?
