Hi,
I'm building semver 1.0.22 right now.
As for clap, the update from v4.4 to v4.5 is a bit bigger than usual,
and involves almost a dozen crates as far as I can tell. I'll try to
tackle that tomorrow.
This version also drops dependencies on versionize and
versionize_derive which have no other users. Should I retire them
from f40+rawhide when the update is pushed? Are there special
concerns with retiring Rust crates?
You can retire the packages from rawhide and f40 as soon as nothing
depends on them any longer.
Note that this might take a bit for f40, since the beta freeze is
still in effect - and retirements can no longer be done after the
final freeze goes into effect.
Just keep this possibly tight schedule in mind. There's no special
thing required wrt/ retirement of Rust crates.
FYI, you do not need to run "fedpkg retire" in both the "rawhide" and
"f40" branches - running it once for "rawhide" and then switching to
f40 and "git merge rawhide && git push" is enough to retire in the
"branched" release.
