I think that would be ok, but I'd still keep them as servers, rather
than services, since a process should generally be represented as a
server. That will also allow the user to still see the individual AS7
servers listed on the Inventory>Servers view.
Another feature we should consider adding is allowing the RHQ admin to
configure certain platform and top-level server resource types to
auto-import. That feature would have addressed your issue, and I think
it would also be useful in general.
