In the po file for the F12 Release Notes (POT created 2009-10-28 00:29+0000)
there is this message:
#. Tag: screen
#: FileSystems.xml:33
#, no-c-format
msgid ""
"$ less test.txt\n"
" \"test.dump\" may be a binary file. See it anyway?"
There are two issues here:
1) While the argument is "test.txt", less gives a message about "test.dump".
2) (very minor) There is an extra space before the error message.

The Fedora 12 release notes contains a section where what appears to be an
administrative message has been included. At least this is true for po files
with pot creation date 2009-10-28 00:29.
#. Tag: para
#: FileSystems.xml:15
#, no-c-format
msgid ""
"<package>Fusecompress</package> is a compressing filesystem mountable by "
"unprivileged users. (Note: this may mean we don't want this note in the "
"system admin section). Fedora-11 had fusecompress-1.99.19. Fedora-12 updates "
"to fusecompress-2.6. This fixes many very nasty bugs but changes the on-disk "
"format. Users with fusecompress filesystems will need to migrate their data "
"to the new format. Unless they decompress before upgrading, they will need "
"the <package>fusecompress_offline1</package> package to do so."

Just a note, the incorrect URL currently redirects, so no deep panic until it
gets resolved.
I'm reassigning to release notes component and setting it to needinfo on the
assignee. I'm fairly certain that list is auto-generated from .spec files,
meaning it's already fixed (or should be fixed) in the release notes RPM. The
lack in appearing for Beta was probably due to a schedule difference in when
the URL was set in the release notes RPM and in the couchdb RPM.
Thank you for checking the notes with that level of detail, it is much, much
appreciated.

[Bug 532427] New: Please document gnome-window-properties missing in F-12

Summary: Please document gnome-window-properties missing in F-12

Summary: Please document gnome-window-properties missing in
F-12
Product: Fedora Documentation
Version: devel
Platform: All
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: medium
Priority: low
Component: release-notes
AssignedTo: relnotes(a)fedoraproject.org
ReportedBy: mschmidt(a)redhat.com
QAContact: kwade(a)redhat.com
CC: mclasen(a)redhat.com, eric(a)christensenplace.us,
wb8rcr(a)arrl.net
Classification: Fedora
Target Release: ---
Description of problem:
The gnome-window-properties utility got split from the control-center package
into its own package control-center-extra. Users will have a hard time finding
how to configure focus-follows-mouse behaviour in F-12. At least this change
should be documented in the release notes.
I suggest adding a new subsection under the section "4.1.4. GNOME 2.28":
Window preferences
The GNOME window preferences is not installed by default. Users wishing to
switch to focus-follows-mouse mode should install the control-center-extra
package. The GNOME window preferences will then appear in System -> Preferences
-> Windows.
