-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2019-a2de2bcb87 2019-02-27 03:28:03.892633 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : php-pecl-igbinary Product : Fedora 29 Version : 3.0.0 Release : 1.fc29 URL : http://pecl.php.net/package/igbinary Summary : Replacement for the standard PHP serializer Description : Igbinary is a drop in replacement for the standard PHP serializer.
Instead of time and space consuming textual representation, igbinary stores PHP data structures in a compact binary form. Savings are significant when using memcached or similar memory based storages for serialized data.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information:
**Version 3.0.0** * Drop support for PHP 5. * Drop support for APC (APC was only available for PHP5 - It is the predecessor of APCu) * Emit a warning and return null if igbinary_unserialize() is passed more data to unserialize than expected. * Fix compilation against PHP 7.4-dev. Igbinary does NOT yet properly serialize/unserialize all classes with PHP 7.4-dev's typed properties. * The serialization format is exactly the same as igbinary 2.x * Don't use empty string for serializing empty $_SESSION array, it breaks some save handlers. (Issue #231). Continue treating the empty string as the empty $_SESSION array when unserializing. ---- Major version bump is related to PHP dependency being raised, but API and generated data format are unchanged. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ChangeLog:
* Mon Feb 18 2019 Remi Collet remi@remirepo.net - 3.0.0-1 - update to 3.0.0 - no API change - raise dependency on PHP 7 * Mon Oct 22 2018 Remi Collet remi@remirepo.net - 2.0.8-1 - update to 2.0.8 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
