Name : R-backports
Product : Fedora 27

Release : 1.fc27
URL : https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/backports/index.html
Summary : Reimplementations of Functions Introduced Since R-3.0.0
Description :
Implementations of functions which have been introduced in R since version
3.0.0. The backports are conditionally exported which results in R
resolving the function names to the version shipped with R (if available)
and uses the implemented backports as fallback. This way package
developers can make use of the new functions without worrying about the
minimum required R version.

Fedora 27 Update: ghc-turtle-1.5.0-1.fc27
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora Update Notification
FEDORA-2017-637e0413b0
2018-01-02 14:45:21.619727
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : ghc-turtle
Product : Fedora 27
Version : 1.5.0
Release : 1.fc27
URL : https://hackage.haskell.org/package/turtle
Summary : Shell programming, Haskell-style
Description :
'turtle' is a reimplementation of the Unix command line environment in Haskell
so that you can use Haskell as both a shell and a scripting language.
Features include:
* Batteries included: Command an extended suite of predefined utilities
* Interoperability: You can still run external shell commands
* Portability: Works on Windows, OS X, and Linux
* Exception safety: Safely acquire and release resources
* Streaming: Transform or fold command output in constant space
* Patterns: Use typed regular expressions that can parse structured values
* Formatting: Type-safe 'printf'-style text formatting
* Modern: Supports 'text' and 'system-filepath'
Read "Turtle.Tutorial" for a detailed tutorial or "Turtle.Prelude" for a
quick-start guide
'turtle' is designed to be beginner-friendly, but as a result lacks certain
features, like tracing commands. If you feel comfortable using 'turtle' then
you should also check out the 'Shelly' library which provides similar
functionality.

Update Information:
Initial package of `bench`, a command-line benchmark tool, which might thought
of as a more powerful alternative to the 'time' command.

Fedora 27 Update: ghc-text-short-0.1.1-1.fc27

Fedora Update Notification
FEDORA-2017-637e0413b0
2018-01-02 14:45:21.619727
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : ghc-text-short
Product : Fedora 27
Version : 0.1.1
Release : 1.fc27
URL : https://hackage.haskell.org/package/text-short
Summary : Memory-efficient representation of Unicode text strings
Description :
This package provides the 'ShortText' type which is suitable for keeping many
short strings in memory. This is similiar to how 'ShortByteString' relates to
'ByteString'.
The main difference between 'Text' and 'ShortText' is that 'ShortText' uses
UTF-8 instead of UTF-16 internally and also doesn't support slicing (thereby
saving 2 words). Consequently, the memory footprint of a (boxed) 'ShortText'
value is 4 words (2 words when unboxed) plus the length of the UTF-8 encoded
payload.

Name : ghc-statistics
Product : Fedora 27
Version : 0.14.0.2
Release : 2.fc27
URL : https://hackage.haskell.org/package/statistics
Summary : A library of statistical types, data, and functions
Description :
This library provides a number of common functions and types useful in
statistics. We focus on high performance, numerical robustness, and use of good
algorithms. Where possible, we provide references to the statistical
literature.
The library's facilities can be divided into four broad categories:
* Working with widely used discrete and continuous probability distributions.
(There are dozens of exotic distributions in use; we focus on the most common.)
* Computing with sample data: quantile estimation, kernel density estimation,
histograms, bootstrap methods, significance testing, and regression and
autocorrelation analysis.
* Random variate generation under several different distributions.
* Common statistical tests for significant differences between samples.

Update Information:
Initial package of `bench`, a command-line benchmark tool, which might thought
of as a more powerful alternative to the 'time' command.

Fedora 27 Update: ghc-monad-par-0.3.4.8-1.fc27
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora Update Notification
FEDORA-2017-637e0413b0
2018-01-02 14:45:21.619727
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : ghc-monad-par
Product : Fedora 27
Version : 0.3.4.8
Release : 1.fc27
URL : https://hackage.haskell.org/package/monad-par
Summary : A library for parallel programming based on a monad
Description :
The 'Par' monad offers a simple API for parallel programming. The library works
for parallelising both pure and 'IO' computations, although only the pure
version is deterministic. The default implementation provides a work-stealing
scheduler and supports forking tasks that are much lighter weight than
IO-threads.
For complete documentation see "Control.Monad.Par".
Some examples of use can be found in the 'examples/' directory of the source
package.
Other related packages:
* 'abstract-par' provides the type classes that abstract over different
implementations of the 'Par' monad.
* 'monad-par-extras' provides extra combinators and monad transformers layered
on top of the 'Par' monad.
Changes in 0.3.4 relative to 0.3:
* Fix bugs that cause "thread blocked indefinitely on MVar" crashes.
* Added "Control.Monad.Par.IO".

Update Information:
Initial package of `bench`, a command-line benchmark tool, which might thought
of as a more powerful alternative to the 'time' command.
