Fedora 20 Update: clutter-1.16.2-3.fc20
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora Update Notification
FEDORA-2014-1535
2014-01-25 12:53:49
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : clutter
Product : Fedora 20
Version : 1.16.2
Release : 3.fc20
URL : http://www.clutter-project.org/
Summary : Open Source software library for creating rich graphical user interfaces
Description :
Clutter is an open source software library for creating fast,
visually rich graphical user interfaces. The most obvious example
of potential usage is in media center type applications.
We hope however it can be used for a lot more.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
This update includes three fixes from the upstream clutter 1.16 stable branch that should mitigate the occurrence of screen corruption / artifacting on some graphics platforms. The package has previously been submitted and never made stable due to some suggestions that it was causing such problems, but in fact it seems the problems appeared in 1.16.2-1 and 1.16.2-3 mitigates them either partially or completely. Given this, we are sending the update back out again. Please, only downvote this update if it actually makes things worse than 1.16.2-1 on your system. Note that you must restart GNOME after installing the update to see its effects.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ChangeLog:
* Mon Dec 9 2013 Matthias Clasen <mclasen(a)redhat.com> - 1.16.2-3
- A followup fix to the previous changes
* Tue Nov 26 2013 Matthias Clasen <mclasen(a)redhat.com> - 1.16.2-2
