Name : mozilla-https-everywhere
Product : Fedora 19
Version : 4.0.1
Release : 1.fc19
URL : https://eff.org/https-everywhere
Summary : HTTPS/HSTS enforcement extension for Mozilla Firefox and SeaMonkey
Description :
HTTPS Everywhere is a Firefox extension produced as a collaboration between
The Tor Project and the Electronic Frontier Foundation. It encrypts your
communications with a number of major websites.
Many sites on the web offer some limited support for encryption over HTTPS,
but make it difficult to use. For instance, they may default to unencrypted
HTTP, or fill encrypted pages with links that go back to the unencrypted site.
The HTTPS Everywhere extension fixes these problems by rewriting all requests
to these sites to HTTPS.

Fedora 21 Update: nip2-7.40.4-1.fc21

Fedora Update Notification
FEDORA-2014-11642
2014-09-27 08:44:37
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : nip2
Product : Fedora 21
Version : 7.40.4
Release : 1.fc21
URL : http://www.vips.ecs.soton.ac.uk/
Summary : Interactive tool for working with large images
Description :
nip2 is a graphical front end to the VIPS package.
With nip2, rather than directly editing images, you build
relationships between objects in a spreadsheet-like fashion. When you
make a change somewhere, nip2 recalculates the objects affected by
that change. Since it is demand-driven this update is very fast, even
for very, very large images. nip2 is very good at creating pipelines
of image manipulation operations. It is not very good for image
editing tasks like touching up photographs. For that, a tool like the
GIMP should be used instead.

Fedora 21 Update: lyx-2.1.2-1.fc21
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora Update Notification
FEDORA-2014-11766
2014-09-28 03:19:16
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : lyx
Product : Fedora 21
Version : 2.1.2
Release : 1.fc21
URL : http://www.lyx.org/
Summary : WYSIWYM (What You See Is What You Mean) document processor
Description :
LyX is a modern approach to writing documents which breaks with the
obsolete "typewriter paradigm" of most other document preparation
systems.
It is designed for people who want professional quality output
with a minimum of time and effort, without becoming specialists in
typesetting.
The major innovation in LyX is WYSIWYM (What You See Is What You Mean).
That is, the author focuses on content, not on the details of formatting.
This allows for greater productivity, and leaves the final typesetting
to the backends (like LaTeX) that are specifically designed for the task.
With LyX, the author can concentrate on the contents of his writing,
and let the computer take care of the rest.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
LyX 2.1.2 is the result of on-going efforts to make our stable version even more reliable and stable. We have fixed a number of bugs and made a number of improvements. These are detailed below. We strongly encourage all LyX users to upgrade to this version.
The most important fix here is that we believe we have resolved the problem that led several users to experience seemingly random crashes with 2.1.0, sometimes resulting in dataloss. (This was bug 9049.) These crashes generally happened when the user attempted to save a file containing a table, usually a fairly complex table. A seemingly unrelated bug report concerning a crash when trying to save a default template (bug 9236) led to the solution. That bug has also been fixed.
