Name : ldc
Product : Fedora 13
Version : 0.9.2
Release : 30.20110115hg1832.fc13
URL : http://www.dsource.org/projects/ldc
Summary : A compiler for the D programming language
Description :
LDC is a compiler for the D programming Language. It is based on the latest DMD
frontend and uses LLVM as backend. LLVM provides a fast and modern backend for
high quality code generation. LDC is released under a BSD license with
exceptions for the DMD frontend and code from GDC.
The development takes place mostly on x86-32 and x86-64 Linux and that is where
LDC works best. Support for other platforms and architectures is under
development, but we are still looking for people to help test and adjust LDC
for those platforms!
LDC already compiles a lot of D code, but should still be considered beta
quality. Take a look at the tickets to get a better impression on what still
needs to be implemented.

Summary : Nagios monitors hosts and services and yells if somethings breaks
Description :
Nagios is a program that will monitor hosts and services on your

This package provides the core program, web interface, and documentation

Name : perl-Server-Starter
Product : Fedora 14
Version : 0.11
Release : 2.fc14
URL : http://search.cpan.org/dist/Server-Starter/
Summary : Superdaemon for hot-deploying server programs
Description :
It is often a pain to write a server program that supports graceful
restarts, with no resource leaks. Server::Starter, solves the problem by
splitting the task into two. One is start_server, a script provided as a
part of the module, which works as a superdaemon that binds to zero or
more TCP ports, and repeatedly spawns the server program that actually
handles the necessary tasks (for example, responding to incoming
connections). The spawned server programs under Server::Starter call
accept(2) and handle the requests.
