-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fedora Update Notification FEDORA-2011-0447 2011-01-17 20:20:20 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : audacious Product : Fedora 14 Version : 2.4.3 Release : 1.fc14 URL : http://audacious-media-player.org/ Summary : Advanced audio player Description : Audacious is an advanced audio player. It is free, lightweight, based on GTK2, runs on Linux and many other *nix platforms and is focused on audio quality and supporting a wide range of audio codecs. It still features an alternative skinned user interface (based on Winamp 2.x skins). Historically, it started as a fork of Beep Media Player (BMP), which itself forked from XMMS.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update Information:
This is a rebase from 2.4.0 to 2.4.3 (upstream's current maintenance release) to benefit from additional fixes not limited to the linked ticket numbers.
Due to a Generic Plugin ABI/API change in 2.4.2 and 2.4.3, plugin packages need a rebuild.
If you use Audacious in conjunction with 3rd party packages, please wait for their updates. Or even better, help.
