RHEL7 instead for reasons you suggest.

Looking at the original question again, I wouldn't recommend using the
RHEL 6 COPR to evaluate OpenLMI - it is not as mature, stable, or
feature rich as the shipping version of OpenLMI.
If you want to evaluate OpenLMI, I would strongly recommend using Fedora
20 or RHEL 7. It its current state, the RHEL 6 COPR is suitable for
people familiar with OpenLMI who want an early look at RHEL 6
development efforts.
If you need to use RHEL 6 to evaluate OpenLMI, I would suggest waiting
several months until it matures. The current RHEL 6 prototype does not
provide a representative experience for OpenLMI.
