You are right. The wording is clear actually, but it's a few
paragraphs down. I see what's happening.
Judging from James's feedback (i.e. the patch that he tested)
the
server is only sending the "not stolen" tag. I would imagine this is
true for everyone seeing this issue.
And the missing test for the result of the hash check is what is killing us.
