On a related note:
Would it be reasonable to ask "Sascha Silbe" sascha-ml-reply-to-2008-4@silbe.org, to maintain sugar-jhbuild?
I don't know him very well yet, but he has been contributing a steady stream of depschecks bugs:)
We could give offer him commit access to sugar-jhbuild and or/a login to buildmaster@sunjammer.sugarlabs.org
Sascha, please note this is a common problem with open source projects. If you show competency, you are at risk of being asked to assume authority and responsibility for something:)
Anyone else interested in helping maintain the Sugar Labs build farm? It is almost identical to Gnome's infrastructure.
...and a good introduction to the infrastructure team. And let's face it, the various Sugar Labs services are starting to get on the order or 1000's of hits per day. That doesn't look bad on a resume.
...and bernie has been a pretty good teacher:)

I update the git url for Log to point to the sugarlabs repository - i guess that is not picked up by jhbuild automatically :/
After an update to jhbuild, it currently needs to be restarted manually. When our infrastructure guys get time, I have have asked them to add a commit hook to git.sl.org That will allow us to take the correct action on commits. That is post .86 in terms of priority.
tomeu, Do you have access to restart the buildmaster on sunjammer?
Yes, how can I do that?

Tomeu
