Agreed. We may have some rework of code to do however.
In FreeBSD-land there is no libnl(netlink) available, so we gratuitously
copy-pasted things from ifconfig to move forward.
This code, copied verbatim, may require some rethinking.
Ok, if you run into serious practical problems let us know. If any BSD
licensed portions of the code were put in a file clearly separated from
the primary BSD driver code, (eg a bsd_ifutils.c) we might reconsider
our acceptance policy. Our first preference though is to remain LGPLv2+
throughout.
