If you do not know how it solved, you should not write that darktable
has been dropped, because it did not. darktable is fully working and
up-to-date in all Fedora repositories.
James Bishop, it is a great idea. Only a thing to keep in mind:
darktable is written with downcase 'd', upstream developers seem to
care a a lot about that (and yes I used to call it Darktable for a
long time LOL).
F22 and F23 repositories contain the older version, so to try the new
2.x major release you have to use F24 or use my Copr repo [1] for F22
and F23

Hi Germano,
Thanks for the clarification. I was actually unsure about whether to
use an uppercase or lowercase 'd', and I appreciate having that cleared
up.
Regarding the version of darktable to use, would it be better to base
the article(s) on the newest version, or the version currently
available in the Fedora repos (which is showing as 1.6.9 on my
machine)?
Regards,
James
