Regarding Fedora 9 Press Release
by Abhishek Singh
Dear All,
I've been searching for the draft of Fedora 9 Press Release/ so
that I could translate it and forward it to the national daily newspapers
for publishing. The page (
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Marketing/PressReleases) does not contain the
latest press release. So could somebody send me a link to the draft/final
version of press release so that I could go on with the translation job.
Thankyou

Re: Top Ten Tasks For www.fedoraproject.org
by Michael Beckwith
One thought that I had with regards to #1 was how some websites have
automatic detection of components of your computer and offer the right
download. For instance, I go to getfirefox.com and it offers me a linux
based download, instead of an .exe file. Would it be possible to use
some technology like that on the page to help get people the distro faster?

OK, I've made these changes and I'm about to upload the pictures too
so, can people take another look and let me know if they're happy with
the Release Overview? It's briefer than we made it last time (mostly
due to impending exams!) but I think it covers the essentials.
Also, what's happening with the feature screencasts? Shall we link to
these from the release overview - I think these two pieces of content
are exactly the kind of things we want to be putting together. I tried
Istanbul today and the package in Koji works great.
Best wishes,

Brilliant, can you talk about any of the booth or BoF plans then?

We should make sure people know about other 3rd party sites like fedora
