How about the proposal to add a new option in /etc/sysconfig/kdump?
Personally, I'd like the default cmdline to the crash environment to not have
quiet or rhgb. But this isn't required for correctness. So I think you're
suggesting having:
KDUMP_COMMANDLINE_REMOVE="quiet rhgb"
These would be removed along w/ the ones currently hard coded in kdumpctl.
This would default to not having quiet, rhgb on the crash kernel, but
allow admins to override.
That seems reasonable to me.
