Hello Remy,
just updated the wiki page. The prices are estimated only, it is
possible to get a lot of discount if we book early and know how many
people will arrive. As far as I can see it the Toulouse prices are not
very different to ours, so please tell us which prices hurt you most,
so we can focus on getting the right venues and prices everyone is
comfortable with.
Thanks for updating your bid :)
I have a few suggestions/questions from the flock-planning list:
1) Be sure to join the flock-planning mailing list, and keep an eye on
the threads there. I already posted a link to your updated bid there
just a lil while ago :)
2) To your bid, add more granular information about flights/travel
from the US to Munich. The Flock bid page calls for "Estimated costs
of flights from BOS, RDU, BOM, CDG, and PRG". Perhaps other transport
options too (flying into Heathrow, taking a train/bus) or other ground
transport from international hubs would be good to have also for other
people traveling from other parts of EMEA.
3) We need to know how much the venue itself would cost and what that
cost includes (Catering, lunches, audio/video, etc...)
4) Also is the prices section at the bottom just for the social event?
Again, thank you for your interest in supporting the Fedora community,
and we look forward to your bid.

P.S. - I'm cc'ing the Flock planning list on this reply, to keep the
other organizers/leadership in the loop too.
Regards,
Daniel
