Now that Flock 2014 has wrapped up, it's time to start talking about 2015.
We'll be back in North America, so if you'd like to host next year's event
in your city, it's time to start putting together a bid. To find out how,
read the wiki page:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Flock_bid_process
Keep in mind that committing to plan a conference is a lot of work and
shouldn't be approached lightly. It's a significant time commitment, and as
the local contact, you're critical to the success of the event.
Historically we have held Fedora events on college campuses simply for the
reason that this is often free space if we know a student or faculty member
there, but it is not a requirement that we be on a campus if we can find
other affordable space.
Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions or need help
getting your bid together.
Thanks!
Ruth
