Fedora EPEL 9 Update: ghc-text-manipulate-0.3.0.0-2.el9
by updates@fedoraproject.org

Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2022-cfe37b4f14

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : ghc-text-manipulate
Product : Fedora EPEL 9
Version : 0.3.0.0
Release : 2.el9
URL : https://hackage.haskell.org/package/text-manipulate
Summary : Case conversion, word boundary manipulation, and textual subjugation
Description :
Manipulate identifiers and structurally non-complex pieces of text by
delimiting word boundaries via a combination of whitespace, control-characters,
and case-sensitivity.
Has support for common idioms like casing of programmatic variable names,
taking, dropping, and splitting by word, and modifying the first character of a
piece of text.
/Caution:/ this library makes heavy use of the
<http://hackage.haskell.org/package/text text> library's internal loop
optimisation framework. Since internal modules are not guaranteed to have a
stable API there is potential for build breakage when the text dependency is
upgraded. Consider yourself warned!.

Fedora EPEL 9 Update: ghc-serialise-0.2.4.0-1.el9
by updates@fedoraproject.org
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2022-cfe37b4f14
2022-10-26 16:48:44.706255
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : ghc-serialise
Product : Fedora EPEL 9
Version : 0.2.4.0
Release : 1.el9
URL : https://hackage.haskell.org/package/serialise
Summary : A binary serialisation library for Haskell values
Description :
This package (formerly 'binary-serialise-cbor') provides pure, efficient
serialization of Haskell values directly into 'ByteString's for storage or
transmission purposes. By providing a set of type class instances, you can also
serialise any custom data type you have as well.
The underlying binary format used is the 'Concise Binary Object
Representation', or CBOR, specified in RFC 7049. As a result, serialised
Haskell values have implicit structure outside of the Haskell program itself,
meaning they can be inspected or analyzed without custom tools.
An implementation of the standard bijection between CBOR and JSON is provided
by the [cborg-json](/package/cborg-json) package. Also see
[cbor-tool](/package/cbor-tool) for a convenient command-line utility for
working with CBOR data.

Fedora EPEL 9 Update: ghc-semigroupoids-5.3.7-1.el9

Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2022-cfe37b4f14
2022-10-26 16:48:44.706255
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : ghc-semigroupoids
Product : Fedora EPEL 9
Version : 5.3.7
Release : 1.el9
URL : https://hackage.haskell.org/package/semigroupoids
Summary : Semigroupoids: Category sans id
Description :
Provides a wide array of (semi)groupoids and operations for working with them.
A 'Semigroupoid' is a 'Category' without the requirement of identity arrows for
every object in the category.
A 'Category' is any 'Semigroupoid' for which the Yoneda lemma holds.
When working with comonads you often have the '<*>' portion of an
'Applicative', but not the 'pure'. This was captured in Uustalu and Vene's
"Essence of Dataflow Programming" in the form of the 'ComonadZip' class in the
days before 'Applicative'. Apply provides a weaker invariant, but for the
comonads used for data flow programming (found in the streams package), this
invariant is preserved. Applicative function composition forms a semigroupoid.
