The Extended root file server consists of a file server called xrootd
and a cluster management server called cmsd.

provides POSIX-like access to any type of file.
The cmsd server is the next generation version of the olbd server,
originally developed to cluster and load balance Objectivity/DB AMS
database servers. It provides enhanced capability along with lower
latency and increased throughput.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : batctl
Product : Fedora EPEL 7
Version : 2020.3
Release : 1.el7
URL : http://www.open-mesh.org/
Summary : B.A.T.M.A.N. advanced control and management tool
Description :
batctl offers a convenient way to configure the batman-adv kernel module
as well as displaying debug information such as originator tables,
translation tables and the debug log. In combination with a bat-hosts
file batctl allows the use of host names instead of MAC addresses.
B.A.T.M.A.N. advanced operates on layer 2. Thus all hosts participating
in the virtual switched network are transparently connected together
for all protocols above layer 2. Therefore the common diagnosis tools
do not work as expected. To overcome these problems batctl contains the
commands ping, traceroute, tcpdump which provide similar functionality
to the normal ping(1), traceroute(1), tcpdump(1) commands, but modified
to layer 2 behavior or using the B.A.T.M.A.N. advanced protocol.

Fedora EPEL 7 Update: xl2tpd-1.3.15-1.el7
by updates@fedoraproject.org

Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2020-c53d91e9fe
2020-09-19 21:58:36.816572
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : xl2tpd
Product : Fedora EPEL 7
Version : 1.3.15
Release : 1.el7
URL : https://github.com/xelerance/xl2tpd/
Summary : Layer 2 Tunnelling Protocol Daemon (RFC 2661)
Description :
xl2tpd is an implementation of the Layer 2 Tunnelling Protocol (RFC 2661).
L2TP allows you to tunnel PPP over UDP. Some ISPs use L2TP to tunnel user
sessions from dial-in servers (modem banks, ADSL DSLAMs) to back-end PPP
servers. Another important application is Virtual Private Networks where
the IPsec protocol is used to secure the L2TP connection (L2TP/IPsec,
RFC 3193). The L2TP/IPsec protocol is mainly used by Windows and
Mac OS X clients. On Linux, xl2tpd can be used in combination with IPsec
implementations such as Libreswan.
Example configuration files for such a setup are included in this RPM.
xl2tpd works by opening a pseudo-tty for communicating with pppd.
It runs completely in userspace.
xl2tpd supports IPsec SA Reference tracking to enable overlapping internak
NAT'ed IP's by different clients (eg all clients connecting from their
linksys internal IP 192.168.1.101) as well as multiple clients behind
the same NAT router.
xl2tpd supports the pppol2tp kernel mode operations on 2.6.23 or higher,
or via a patch in contrib for 2.4.x kernels.
Xl2tpd is based on the 0.69 L2TP by Jeff McAdams <jeffm(a)iglou.com>
It was de-facto maintained by Jacco de Leeuw <jacco2(a)dds.nl> in 2002 and 2003.
