Name : pcc
Product : Fedora EPEL 5
Version : 1.1.0
Release : 0.2.20140817cvs.el5.1
URL : http://pcc.ludd.ltu.se/
Summary : The Portable C Compiler
Description :
The compiler is based on the original Portable C Compiler by Stephen
C. Johnson, written in the late 70's. Even though much of the
compiler has been rewritten, some of the basics still remain.
PCC debuted in Unix Version 7 and replaced the DMR compiler (Dennis
Ritchie's original C compiler) in both System V and the BSD 4.x
releases. Some history about pcc is in the A History of UNIX before
Berkeley: UNIX Evolution: 1975-1984 and in the Evolution of C.
About 50% of the front-end code and 80% of the back-end code has been
rewritten. Most stuff is written by Anders Magnusson, with the
exception of the data-flow analysis part and the SSA conversion code
which is written by Peter A. Jonsson, and the Mips port that were
written as part of a project by undergraduate students at Luleå
University of Technology (LTU).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fedora EPEL Update Notification
FEDORA-EPEL-2014-2277
2014-08-22 18:15:16
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name : zabbix22
Product : Fedora EPEL 5
Version : 2.2.5
Release : 3.el5
URL : http://www.zabbix.com
Summary : Open-source monitoring solution for your IT infrastructure
Description :
Zabbix is software that monitors numerous parameters of a network and the
health and integrity of servers. Zabbix uses a flexible notification mechanism
that allows users to configure e-mail based alerts for virtually any event.
This allows a fast reaction to server problems. Zabbix offers excellent
reporting and data visualization features based on the stored data.
This makes Zabbix ideal for capacity planning.
Zabbix supports both polling and trapping. All Zabbix reports and statistics,
as well as configuration parameters are accessed through a web-based front end.
A web-based front end ensures that the status of your network and the health of
your servers can be assessed from any location. Properly configured, Zabbix can
play an important role in monitoring IT infrastructure. This is equally true
for small organizations with a few servers and for large companies with a
multitude of servers.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Update Information:
zabbix22 is the 2.2 generation of Zabbix. Notes for an upgrade are available:
http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/zabbix22.git/plain/zabbix-fedora-epel....
